Safeguarding

At Belstead Badminton Club we want everyone involved with the club, whether this be members or guest of the club, to have a safe and positive experience.

Everyone has the right to feel safe when playing at the club, and for this reason we have two club welfare officers who are always willing to listen, and help with any queries you may have, as well as provide guidance on safeguarding best practice and procedures. However, safeguarding is everyone's responsibility, and any club member can report any concerns to our Club Welfare Officers, or if they are unavailable, to Badminton England's safeguarding team.

Club Welfare Officers

Club Welfare Officer: Nik Hall

Deputy Club Welfare Officer: Eli Taylor

Both Nik and Eli have enhanced DBS checks and have been through Badminton England's Safeguarding training.

Badminton Safeguarding Policies

As a club we have adopted Badminton England's 'Safeguarding and Protecting & Young People', and 'Safeguarding Adults in Sport' policies, and will always work towards safeguarding best practices. Copies of these policies can be found below, or on our downloads page.
