Last week was a week of Mixed matches for Belstead Badminton Club. On Monday our Mixed Doubles A and Mixed Doubles B teams faced off against each other at Suffolk One. There were some great, and close games with the Mixed A ultimately ending the night with a 7-2 victory.
On Wednesday we had our first triple header with all three mixed doubles teams in action.
The Mixed A were at full strength for their away to trip to face Rushmere's A team. It was a solid performance all round ending with a 8.5 - 0.5 victory to take the team's unbeaten run to six matches for the season.
The Mixed B were looking for their first win as they travelled to Mid-Suffolk Leisure Centre to face a Stowmarket A team also looking for their first win. This match was much closer but some great performances all round saw the team run out 5.5 - 3.5 winners.
The Mixed C were also at ISSC as they faced Rushmere's C team. And although the match ended with a 7-2 win for Belstead, there were some very close games throughout the night.
