Belstead & Ransomes Ladies win Division2
 
Well played to the Belstead & Ransomes Ladies team who finished Division 2A unbeaten and crowned off a fine season with a comprehensive victory in the play-off final.
 
Played at Northgate Sports Centre - the B&R Ladies proved too strong on the night against a good Meadlands team, running out eventual winners by 7.5 - 1.5.

Located in Ipswich and represented in the Ipswich and District Badminton League by four teams, Belstead & Ransomes Badminton Club plays its club nights and home matches at Goals.

Our club nights are on a Monday night and provide the perfect place to enjoy some competitive badminton whilst maintaining the element of fun. Our teams
 
We currently have two men’s doubles team who compete in division four of the IDBL, one ladies' doubles team who compete in division two and two mixed teams who compete in division one and three respectively.

Belstead & Ransomes win the
Playford Trophy
 
For a second successive season Belstead & Ransomes competed in the Playford Trophy final - but this year went one better and won the final!
 
Played at Kesgrave High School Meadlands were the opponents on the night - coming off the abck of an impressive semi-final win over Abbeygate. Meadlands also benefited from a +37 point head start.
 
This didn't prove enough on the night as B&R used their experience gained from a season in Divison One to over power their opponents - winning 370 - 255 on the night.
